1. Who is responsible?

Crane City is provided by Christian Tanner, Switzerland. This policy explains how information is handled by the iPhone app, its support service and these Crane City web pages.

2. Information stored on your device

The app stores personal bests for each difficulty level and your game preferences locally on your device. Preferences include difficulty, speed, wind, city background, building colours, sound and vibration settings. This allows the game to remember your choices between sessions.

These values are not sent to a developer-operated server. The app has no online account, cloud leaderboard or developer-operated cloud synchronisation.

3. No advertising or tracking

Crane City does not integrate advertising networks, third-party analytics SDKs or cross-app tracking. It does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photo library. Sound effects are played from files included with the app; the microphone is not used.

4. Storage and deletion

Local best scores and settings remain in the app’s storage until the app and its data are deleted or the data is otherwise removed from the device. Removing the app using “Delete App” in iOS removes its local data; offloading an app can retain its data.

Depending on your Apple settings, app data may be included in device backups. Backup copies and restoration are controlled by you and Apple. The developer cannot access or delete your device backups.

5. Apple services

Downloading the app from the App Store and using Apple’s operating-system services are subject to Apple’s own privacy practices. Apple may process purchase, download or diagnostic information according to your settings and its policies. This is separate from the app’s local game storage.

6. Contacting support

If you email support, we receive your email address, the content of your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and resolve the reported issue. Our email service provider processes the message to deliver and store the correspondence.

Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up, or to meet applicable legal obligations. Please do not send sensitive information that is not necessary for your request. You can contact us to request deletion of your correspondence, subject to any applicable retention obligations.

7. Visiting this website

Opening these pages connects your browser to the website’s hosting provider. Technical request information, such as your IP address, request time, requested page and browser information, is processed to deliver the pages and may be recorded in server logs for operation and security.

These Crane City pages do not use advertising cookies, analytics scripts or embedded third-party media. Fonts and game artwork are served from this website. If you follow an external link, the destination provider’s privacy policy applies.

8. Children’s privacy

The game does not ask players to provide personal details and has no account or social features. If a child sends personal information in a support enquiry, a parent or guardian may contact us to request its deletion.

9. Your choices and rights

You control the game data stored on your device. For personal information received through support or website operation, you may request access, correction or deletion, and exercise other rights available under applicable data-protection law. You may also contact the competent data-protection authority. We may need enough information to verify and respond to your request.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app or its data practices change. The date above indicates the latest revision.
